Central Florida
An area with a big reputation, the central region of Florida is probably the most famous of them all. Thanks to its world-class theme-parks, mid-Florida is really tourist central, with millions of visitors every year from all over the world.
Encouraging great rental demand, Orlando contains the massive Disney complex that has universal appeal. With great rides, stunning live performances and its daily parade, Disney Land is a must for families of all ages. The complex has also been extended to include the futurist Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom.
Universal Orlando Resort, with its two-part theme parks, furthered the reputation for the area’s state-of-the-art showmanship and thrills. It takes movie entertainment from the big screen to first-hand experience in a way that inspires tears and screams. CityWalk, a recreated downtown club and dine scene, and a medley of theme resorts, grew up to accommodate guests and expand the appeal of the parks to adult playtime.
If marine life is of interest to you try Sea World and Discovery Cove. See the whole range of marine life at Sea World including sharks, manatees and sting rays, and view (and sometimes participate in) their famous live shows featuring dolphins, seals and killer whales. Discovery Cove allows you to experience that once-in-a-lifetime dream of swimming with dolphins, plus a full-days snorkelling and some private beach time.
But the area contains more than just theme parks, try the traditional rodeo town of Kissimmee, that contains cattle auctions and rodeo displays for a taste of the real wild west.
